What does $1.50 a string mean to you?

Often when a string breaks we are able to pull that string, clamp it, tie it off and replace it with one string. We tie off that one string, weave it through, use a stringing machine to attain the correct tension, knot and clip the excess string. That one string costs you $1.50.
Occasionally two strings break and we would follow the same process but replace two strings and that would be $3.00... and so on. The vast majority of racquets require the replacement of three strings or less.
The cost to you, and the environment, is so much less than replacing that racquet!
